The Avenue – The Gateway into Huntsville

“The Avenue,” a five-story mixed use development, will take over the now-vacant parking lot at the northwest corner of Holmes Avenue and Jefferson Street.  The project will feature over 200 loft-style apartments with 20,000 square feet of street-level retail space and a large on-site parking garage.

Recently retired Director of Planning for The City of Huntsville, Marie Bostick. told The Huntsville Times, “[The City will be] responsible for improving the area around the development by adding landscaping, new brick-lined sidewalks, street lamps, traffic lights and more street parking. And the city will construct a new road behind the apartments to improve access.”
